The Southern Region of the Order of Engineers (OERS) launched its certified training program for 2026, designed to respond practically to the challenges of society and the profession. This offering focuses on the skills most valued by the current market and is divided into four main axes: Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, Sustainable Engineering, Leadership and Performance, and Technical Excellence and Compliance. The course calendar runs until the end of the year, in an e-learning format, and is open to both members and non-members of the OERS, according to a press release.
According to the same source, digital transformation is one of the program’s central pillars. In the area of Digital Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, notable courses include Industrial Cybersecurity, on July 6; Artificial Intelligence Applied to Engineering, on July 8; and Data Protection and Regulatory Compliance, on July 27.
To address climate instability and the energy transition, the OERS strengthens the Sustainable Engineering strand. Confirmed trainings include Sustainability and Circular Economy Applied to Engineering, on September 14; and Life Cycle Assessment and Eco-Design, on September 28.
Recognizing that technical rigor must be complemented by management and leadership skills, the program also includes trainings in Leadership and Performance, with sessions on Effective Technical and Scientific Communication, which will take place on October 1, and Technical Leadership and Management of Multidisciplinary Teams, on December 16.
For the end of the year, further trainings in the field of Technical Excellence and Compliance are also planned, whose modules and respective programs will be announced soon.
With this program, OERS reaffirms its commitment to ongoing training accessible to all, developed in partnership with certified entities, and with the guarantee of content with professional applicability and strategic relevance to the market.
Registrations and the complete program are available on the training page of the Order of Engineers – Southern Region. The trainings are subject to a minimum and maximum number of participants, so early registration is recommended.
