LIPOR continues in 2026 with the cycle of webinars “Think and Act. A Mobilizing Agenda 2030”, an initiative that promotes knowledge sharing, debate and the dissemination of best practices around the main challenges of waste management and the circular economy, according to a press release.
According to the same source, “in a context of profound environmental, economic and social transformations, waste management assumes a central role in the transition to a circular, resilient economy that uses resources efficiently. The new regulatory requirements, technological innovation and the increasing valuation of secondary materials place the sector at the center of sustainability and competitiveness strategies”.
In this framework, “it becomes essential to promote spaces for knowledge sharing and debate that bring closer together the different stakeholders in the value chain, foster the dissemination of best practices and contribute to identifying innovative solutions for current challenges”. This initiative provides an opportunity to bring together specialists, companies, public entities, academia and civil society around strategic topics, stimulating dialogue, collaboration and the dissemination of knowledge.
Aimed at professionals in the sector, companies, municipalities, academia and the interested public, the sessions are free to attend and aim to foster reflection and technical capacity-building on priority topics.
