Sunenergy Expands Colorobbia’s Solar Energy Production Capacity

July 14, 2026

Sunenergy, a specialist in solutions for solar power generation, has completed the execution of the expansion of Colorobbia’s photovoltaic installation, a multinational ceramic company of Italian origin that operates a facility in Anadia, in the Aveiro district, as disclosed in a press release.

According to the same source, in total, this project comprises 559 photovoltaic modules, resulting from the combination of 216 new modules with a capacity of 610 W that were added to the 343 modules rated at 455 W already existing and installed by Sunenergy in 2023. The two phases of the project allowed achieving a global capacity of 287.825 kW. This system will prevent about 186.236 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, significantly contributing to Colorobbia’s environmental footprint reduction.

“Investing in solar energy is aligned with our sustainability and efficiency strategy, allowing us to reduce operating costs and, at the same time, the environmental impact of our activity,” says Pedro Leal, Chief Financial Officer of Colorobbia.

For Miguel Almeida of Sunenergy, “this reinforcement demonstrates not only the effectiveness of the solutions implemented, but also the continued trust of our clients and, in this particular case, Colorobbia in our services.”
