GHANA: HIV/AIDS school exams for pupils

A Ghanaian member of parliament (MP) has advocated for the inclusion of HIV/AIDS education as a compulsory subject in the country's secondary schools.

The MP for Birim North district, Dr William Boakye Akoto, said HIV/AIDS as a subject in schools could help curb the spread of the disease.

According to the local Ghanaian Chronicle, once implemented, the subject would have to be passed in all final examinations.
