The energy company Greenvolt sold a photovoltaic solar park in Hungary to the Greek PPC group for €64.2 million, in a deal whose completion is expected by the end of 2026.
In a press release sent today to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), the company indicated that, through its subsidiary Greenvolt Power, it signed an agreement to sell Project Kira to PPC S.A., a company of the Greek energy group PPC.
The Project Kira is a photovoltaic solar park with an installed capacity of 57.47 MW, located in Királyegyháza, in southern Hungary.
According to Greenvolt, the completion of the transaction is expected to occur by the end of 2026, depending on compliance with customary contractual conditions for this type of operation.
The company emphasised that the sale is aligned with the asset rotation strategy and demonstrates the group’s ability to originate, develop and construct large-scale renewable energy projects.
On Thursday, the energy company reinforced a credit line with new financing of €157.5 million, funds that will be used to support the company’s growth strategy.
