Environmental Sector Associations Strengthen Presence at TECMA 2026

March 25, 2026

The leading associations related to urban planning, environment and urban services will mark their presence at TECMA 2026 – International Trade Fair for Urban Planning and Environment, which runs from June 9 to 11 at IFEMA Madrid. The 22nd edition of the event once again establishes itself as one of the sector’s main meeting points, bringing together entities, companies and experts to discuss solutions and trends for more sustainable cities.

Among the confirmed associations are AFAMOUR, ATEGRUS, ASELIP, ANEPMA, ASEJA and AEPJP, which will present projects, promote initiatives and animate activities throughout the three days of the fair.

The 2026 edition is expected to gain additional momentum thanks to the simultaneous hosting of other events at IFEMA Madrid, such as the International Recovery and Recycling Fair (SRR), Global Mobility Call, the Foro de las Ciudades and SocioCARE, a new project focused on social well-being.

Urban Innovation and Sustainability in Focus

AFAMOUR will drive a space dedicated to inclusive and sustainable urban furniture, highlighting innovative solutions for leisure areas, playgrounds and public spaces. The objective is to reinforce the role of these facilities in creating more accessible, safer and welcoming cities.

Meanwhile, ATEGRUS will be responsible for organizing the 20th edition of the Escobas Awards, an international recognition that acknowledges best practices in waste management and urban cleaning. The ceremony is scheduled for June 10 and is expected to bring together public entities, companies and sector specialists.

Meanwhile, ASELIP sees participation in TECMA as a strategic opportunity to strengthen links between suppliers and customers, as well as to follow the technological evolution of urban services. The association also highlights the show’s continued growth, both in the number of exhibitors and visitors.

Training, Technology and Green Infrastructures

ANEPMA will have an active presence with a program of training activities, technical meetings and participation in the Foro de las Ciudades, where it will coordinate a session dedicated to artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and waste management.

In the area of green infrastructures, ASEJA will highlight its work in the development and maintenance of urban parks and gardens, promoting knowledge exchange between professionals and public entities. The association has been contributing to the definition of technical criteria and policies related to the sustainable management of these spaces.

Also AEPJP, with more than half a century of activity, will be present at the fair, reinforcing its role in promoting the sustainable management of urban green areas. Through its technical committees, the association has driven training, research and sharing of best practices in areas such as irrigation, plant health and urban forests.

A Meeting Point for More Sustainable Cities

With the participation of these entities, TECMA 2026 consolidates itself as a reference platform for the sharing of knowledge, innovation and solutions in the field of urban planning and environment, at a time when cities face growing challenges related to sustainability, resource management and urban quality of life.
