Migration Health Programme Consultant, International Organization for Migration (IOM) - Juba, Sudan Responsibilities: - Overall programme and staff management in Southern Sudan
- Identify health programming opportunities in Southern Sudan
- Attend Health Coordination meetings, epidemiological surveillance meetings and relevant workshops
- Attend and provide technical support to UN and interagency working group meetings and other forums for Southern Sudan, where identified as a priority for the programmes
- Reporting, including narrative and financial, as per IOM and Global Fund and Common Humanitarian Fund guidelines, and on quality of activities undertaken
- Develop and implement the output monitoring framework to facilitate timely reporting and for data analysis with a view towards peer reviewed publication
- Monitor programme progress including the adherence to work plan, timeframes, project log frame and outputs.
Qualifications: - Undergraduate degree in social sciences, health or related field required
- Postgraduate degree required, preferably in public health or related development field
- At least three years' experience in the field of health programming, with expertise on HIV/AIDS
- Demonstrated experience in managing programmes and staff
- Demonstrated experience in programme development, including resource mobilization
- Work and/or academic experience focusing on migrant/mobile and/or HIV key population groups preferred
- Work in the Southern Sudan context an asset, including knowledge of government structures
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrated ability to identify, approach, and coordinate with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds and levels of expertise

- Experience in developing proposals and managing contracts within an international NGO
- Familiar with donors like the European Union, the US Agency for International Development and the UK's Department for International Development
