Swappie, Europe’s leading specialist in refurbished technology, announces in a press release its entry into the laptop market with the availability of refurbished MacBooks in its portfolio.

The initial offering focuses on models released from 2020 onwards and equipped with Apple Silicon processors, with a diverse range of options, from the highly sought-after MacBook Air M1, available from under 600 euros, to the M2 and M3 models, with prices between 600 euros and 1,500 euros. For users seeking greater performance, the most powerful configurations and the MacBook Air M4 start at 900 euros, while the MacBook Pro M5 are available from 1,449 euros. All prices are subject to equipment availability.
Among the criteria defined by the company is the battery assessment, which must have a minimum capacity of 86%. In cases where the battery falls below this limit or surpasses 800 cycles, it is replaced with a new one. The MacBooks are also subjected to performance and diagnostic tests to verify proper functioning of the various hardware components.
All refurbished MacBooks sold by Swappie include a 24-month warranty and a 14-day return period, under the Swappie Quality Guarantee.
The expansion of the offering to laptops fits in the company’s strategy to extend the life cycle of electronic equipment. By putting used devices back into circulation, the refurbishing model seeks to reduce the need to produce new equipment and, consequently, the additional consumption of raw materials and the generation of electronic waste.
