MOBI.E Network Sets August Record with Over 1.1 Million EV Charging Sessions

September 15, 2026

The MOBI.E-connected network registered more than 1.1 million electric vehicle charging sessions in August, a new monthly high and a 29% increase compared with the same month in 2025, the company announced today.

Throughout the month, the network was used by more than 286,900 distinct users, considering accesses via card or app, which represents a year-over-year growth of 86%.

Energy consumption also reached a new high, surpassing 27,000 megawatt-hours (MWh), 35% higher than in August 2025.

By the end of August, the MOBI.E-connected public network counted 8,324 charging stations and 15,858 charging points distributed across the country. Of these, 3,310 stations offered fast or ultra-fast charging, corresponding to about 39.8% of the infrastructure.

According to MOBI.E, the charging sessions conducted in August avoided the emission of more than 22,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (COâ‚‚), the equivalent of the annual carbon sequestration capacity of approximately 365,000 urban trees aged 10 years, while cumulatively from January to August more than 140,000 tonnes were avoided.
