Guimarães will be the starting point for a national-scale debate on the challenges facing the economy and on how the green transition can create new opportunities for companies and for regions. The event will take place next Wednesday, September 16, at 2:30 p.m., at the Landscape Laboratory, as announced in a press release.
According to the same source, the conference will bring together companies, institutions, universities, experts and the business community to reflect on competitiveness, productivity, talent, innovation, technological transformation, energy, decarbonization, internationalization and investment attraction.
More than an environmental issue, the transition to a low-carbon economy represents a process of economic, technological and energy transformation. In this sense, the meeting aims to discuss how these changes can strengthen the capacity for innovation and the competitiveness of companies, contributing to a more sustainable, skilled, and future-ready region.
Promoted by the Municipality of Guimarães, in partnership with Expresso and SIC Notícias, the initiative forms part of the Guimarães 26 – European Green Capital program and sits within the European project A+CLASS – Alliance for Climate Leadership, funded by the European Union’s NetZeroCities program.
