EPAL has launched a new online page dedicated to hydration, intended to contribute to the care to be adopted during periods of heat, as announced in a press release.
According to the same source, quick to consult and in accessible language, this new space gathers useful advice to integrate the consumption of tap water into daily routines, reminding that thirst is already a sign that the body has started to lose water and that hydration should be regular throughout the day.
Organized according to the different moments of daily life, the recommendations cover situations such as meals, work, commuting, physical activity, or leisure moments. Among the suggested gestures are to keep a reusable bottle close at hand, make water easily accessible at home or at the workplace, and reinforce consumption during the hottest days. The page also emphasizes the importance of paying special attention to the hydration of children, elderly people, and other more vulnerable individuals, with medical indications always to be respected when there are specific restrictions.
“Taking care of hydration is a simple but essential gesture. With these tips we want to provide clear, practical, and useful information, helping each person adopt small habits that contribute to facing the heat in a more informed way. Tap water is available, of high quality, and should be part of this daily care,” says Marcos Sá, Director of Communication, Marketing and Environmental Education at EPAL.
This initiative is part of EPAL’s ongoing commitment to promoting environmental literacy and responsible habits, encouraging conscious behaviors and valuing tap water as a safe, accessible, and more sustainable option for daily hydration.
