UPPartner Enters EcoVadis Top 1% of Companies

September 23, 2026

UPPartner achieved 84 points out of 100 in EcoVadis’ sustainability assessment, corresponding to the 97th percentile, and again secured the Gold Medal. The result places the company in the Top 1% of organizations evaluated worldwide in the Advertising and Market Research sector.

The ranking represents an improvement from 2025, a year in which the company had reached 78 points and the 96th percentile, also with Gold Medal. It is the second consecutive year UPPartner has received this distinction, after previously obtaining the Silver Medal.

According to the company, the evolution results mainly from the systematization of practices that were already part of its activity, with greater investment in documentation, measurement and monitoring of results.

“The greatest impact of this process was not that we started doing things completely differently. Many of the practices already existed and are part of how UPPartner has always managed its people, its clients and its relationship with the community. What changed was our ability to systematize them, measure them, and understand the impact they actually have,” explains Teresa Sabino, UPPartner’s HR Director.

The executive adds that transforming practices into “data, policies and indicators” allows the company to make decisions in a more conscious and consistent manner.

One of the instruments introduced in this journey was UPPartner’s first double materiality exercise, conducted on the 2025 activity, following EFRAG’s recommendations. The analysis allowed mapping the value chain and identifying impacts, risks and opportunities in areas such as the environment, people, ethics, data protection and the relationship with suppliers and partners.

The Sustainability Report for 2025 also presents more systematic monitoring of indicators related to benefits, professional development, mobility, training, health and retention. Of the 49 employees covered by the report, more than half had at least ten years of seniority at the company, and seven had 30 or more years with the company.

In the environmental area, the document gathers measures related to mobility, reduction of material consumption and reuse of resources. During 2025, the company also supported environmental regeneration initiatives and community support, including the donation of 100 beehives to beekeepers affected by the fires and the redistribution of surplus meals from events through social partners.

The entry of sustainability into supplier and partner assessment processes also helped accelerate this journey. UPPartner’s first approach to EcoVadis emerged as a result of a multinational client’s procurement requirements, which included minimum sustainability criteria in the selection and evaluation of its partners.

In this way, sustainability began to have a more direct influence on purchasing processes and business opportunities, in addition to the reputational dimension.

“Today, a small or medium enterprise can be confronted with the same levels of demand as a large company when it joins the value chain of international organizations. This obliges us to evolve and also creates a responsibility: to bring that demand to our own suppliers and partners,” says Teresa Sabino.

The executive believes that this is how the company began the journey and that it intends to continue contributing so that other partners do the same.

For UPPartner, the EcoVadis assessment represents an external validation of a process that aims to remain ongoing, with a focus on measuring impacts, integrating sustainability into decisions and progressively broadening these criteria across the value chain.
