UBBO Seeks New Dog Mascot for the 3rd Edition of Cãocurso

September 30, 2026

UBBO Shopping Resort will host, on October 3, starting at 3:00 PM, the 3rd edition of the UBBO Mascot Dog Course. The event will take place at the Central Square of the Shopping Resort and will mark the election of the space’s new representative, succeeding the corgi Tutti-frutti, winner of the previous edition, as announced in a press release.

According to the same source, the initiative aims to select the companion animal that will be the official image of the Dog Friendly concept of UBBO for one year. The jury’s assessment will focus on criteria of sociability, posture and charisma of the participants.

The first-placed participant will receive a monthly kit of assorted products for 12 months. Additionally, the top three will be awarded prizes provided by the initiative’s partner brands: Auchan, Kiwoko, Pet’s Park, Normal, Kivet and Acium.

In line with the social responsibility component, on the day of the event, it is requested that each participant bring to the entrance a bag of dog and/or cat food (minimum 2 kg), and donations from the audience will also be accepted. All donations collected will be donated to Animalife, the national non-profit association dedicated to fighting animal abandonment and supporting low-income families with animals in their care.

The initiative forms part of UBBO’s ongoing strategy to promote close-to-home experiences and social responsibility, reinforcing the Shopping Resort‘s positioning as a reference destination for leisure and entertainment in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.
