The XII edition of the LIPOR University takes place from November 4 to 6, at Casa do Corim, in Águas Santas, Maia, bringing together about 20 young professionals and recent graduates from various fields of study, according to a press release.
According to the same source, promoted by the LIPOR Academy, in partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth (IPDJ) and the Portuguese Association of Business Intelligence (APBI), this year’s initiative has as its motto “Echo the Future: Sustainability, Connection and Career.”
For three days, participants will have contact with thematic sessions, debates, testimonies, and moments of networking, in a program that aims to intersect sustainability issues with the development of personal and professional competencies.
The organizers also aim to promote reflection on the role of the new generations in facing environmental, social and technological challenges and on how these can be integrated into their future professional paths.
The LIPOR University also seeks to bring young professionals closer to specialists, companies and organizations, creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and contact with different experiences in the field of sustainability.
Created by the LIPOR Academy, the initiative brings together participants from different fields of study and seeks to bring the academic world, the business sector and public institutions closer around the themes of sustainable development.
