The Lagos Zoo joined, this summer, the Blue Flag campaign, promoted by the Municipality of Lagos, through the Lagos on the Summer Wave 2026 initiative, bringing environmental education to the beaches and local communities, according to a press release.
According to the same source, through games, activities and challenges, the children were invited to discover that small actions can make a big difference in protecting nature.
Between play and learning, a simple message remained: “the future of our planet is also in our hands”, the note concludes.
