A true leader in its sector, the Indra Group consolidated its position as the third most sustainable company in the world in the IT Services sector, according to the Sustainability Yearbook 2026 from S&P Global. The group is also the only European company included in the Top 10% of leading global sustainability companies in this sector, as announced in a press release.
According to the same source, for the sixth consecutive year, the company remains among the three most sustainable globally, reinforcing its status as an international technology reference.
The recognition is based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) by S&P Global, regarded as the most complete and demanding corporate sustainability assessment on the market. In this edition, more than nine thousand companies were analyzed. The assessment also serves as the basis for international benchmark indices, such as the Dow Jones Best-in-Class family (formerly designated Dow Jones Sustainability Index), where the Indra Group has maintained a continuous presence for almost two decades.
Integrated Approach to Sustainability
The position reached in the Sustainability Yearbook 2026 results from an integrated strategy that balances the environmental, social, and governance dimensions. The company stands out for the robustness of its corporate model, built on high standards of ethics, transparency, and risk management, as well as for its commitment to people, attracting and retaining talent, protecting data privacy, and embedding sustainability in the business strategy.
According to Manuel Ausaverri, Chief Strategy Officer of the Indra Group, “in a moment of exponential growth in our industry, and given the highest demands from our clients to grow and invest, we are managing to do so by leading globally with the highest sustainability standards and meeting the most stringent criteria in social, ethical, and governance terms.”
With this new recognition, the company reinforces its position as one of the most well-prepared technology players to face future economic, social, and environmental challenges, establishing itself as a European reference in sustainability on a global scale.
Leadership in Climate Action
Among the aspects most valued in this edition is the Indra Group’s performance on climate change, where it achieved the maximum score. This result reinforces the recognition conferred by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the leading international index of climate transparency, which again included the company in the “A List,” distinguishing it as a world leader in climate action and transparency.
The distinction reflects the group’s commitment to decarbonization, the setting of science-based emission reduction targets, the responsible management of risks and opportunities associated with climate change, and the integration of these criteria into the business strategy and the development of technological solutions with a positive impact.
