CAMEROON: AIDS partnership with former US president

Former US president Bill Clinton's HIV/AIDS Foundation and the government of Cameroon have signed a partnership agreement to tackle the pandemic.

"The objective of the agreement is to support treatment of HIV/AIDS through a reduction in the cost anti-AIDS drugs," Foundation representative, Lynn Margherio, said in a statement.

According to the Ministry of Health, apart from the Clinto Foundation, the country was in need of additional partnerships to to succeed in tackling the disease.
