HIV/AIDS Monitoring, Evaluation, and Research Advisor, World Vision Africa

World Vision is a Christian relief and development organisation working in nearly 100 countries around the world, including more than 25 in Africa. World Vision focuses on HIV/AIDS prevention, care and advocacy, with an emphasis on children.

Based in Africa, the advisor will provide technical leadership in monitoring, evaluation and research for World Vision's HIV/AIDS response across the region.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of master's degree in public health, social sciences, or other relevant field; PhD, DrPH, or other doctoral qualification in relevant discipline preferred
  • Extensive experience in designing and conducting impact assessments and operations research, preferably for HIV/AIDS-focused or HIV/AIDS-related programmes
  • Very strong English language communication skills, both oral and written. Fluency in French, Portuguese, and/or Kiswahili preferred
