1. Development Advisor, Namibia Network of AIDS Service Organisations (NANASO), Namibia

Namibia's Network of AIDS Service Organisations is looking for an Organisational Development Advisor for a 2-year contract based in Windhoek, Namibia.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3 years' work experience in organisational development in NGOs or CBOs
  • Proven experience in training and facilitation methodologies and direct training ability experience
  • Experience in and the ability to train people in Strategic Planning, Fundraising, and Monitoring and Evaluation is essential
  • Working knowledge of the field of HIV and AIDS as a development and human rights issue
  • Ability to analyse the work of small organisations and identify their training needs.

2. Country Director, Zambia Corridors of Hope Project

Family Health International (FHI) are seeking qualified candidates for the following position: Country Director, Zambia Corridors of Hope Project

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide senior management with technical oversight of all activities of Corridors of Hope (COH) and overall leadership and vision of the project
  • Lead a team of partner organisations to achieve identified results and manage a complex partnership between two bilateral donors and four implementing partners
  • Communication and coordination with donors, other donor-funded projects, civil society and the National AIDS Council
  • Work in close collaboration with project steering committee comprised of donors and directors of project partner organisations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MPH or related Masters, 5-10 years HIV/AIDS experience with 5 years managing a large portfolio. Experience with high-risk populations
  • Experience with donor-funded projects.
