The African Microbicides Advocacy Group (AMAG) invites you to a meeting at the upcoming 15th International AIDS Conference in Bangkok. The update and planning meeting themed "Moving the African Microbicides Agenda Forward", will update the progress of the network and consult with attendees on the most important priorities for our region and work in microbicides research and advocacy.

The meeting is on Wednesday 14 July 2004, from 12.15 - 13.30 at the Bangkok IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Room EC 5.

AMAG is a small but growing group of committed advocates from a wide range of backgrounds including activists, researchers, scientists, policy makers, service providers and programme managers. They are gearing up for concerted and collective advocacy action to push the microbicides agenda in a way that recognises their context and perspectives as advocates in Africa.

The Youth and HIV portal was developed to provide policymakers, media, youth, and all activists attending or interested in the 15th International AIDS Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, with the tools to ensure that young people are at the centre of global and national debate and policymaking.
