Meet the team behind PlusNews, the people turning stories into impact
At PlusNews, our strength lies in the dedication of a small but passionate team. Based in Geneva, our journalists, editors, and media professionals bring together experience in humanitarian work and independent reporting. Each member contributes unique expertise, but we share one mission: to shed light on global crises, amplify unheard voices, and inspire meaningful change.
From a small team in Geneva to a global platform amplifying humanitarian voices
PlusNews was founded by a group of journalists and humanitarian professionals who shared one conviction: that independent reporting can bring overlooked realities to light. Starting in Geneva — a city known as the world’s humanitarian capital — the team began publishing daily stories to connect local struggles with global awareness.
Over time, PlusNews has grown into a diverse newsroom bringing together reporters, editors, and contributors from different backgrounds. Our team combines journalistic rigor with field experience in humanitarian work, making our reporting both credible and human-centered. What began as a local initiative is now a global platform dedicated to inspiring solidarity and meaningful change.
