1. Chief of Party, FHI Zambia

Family Health International (FHI) is seeking qualified candidates for the following position: Chief of Party, FHI/Zambia - USAID Project

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage FHI's HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programmes funded by USAID/Zambia
  • Ensure effective start-up and implementation of the project, and achieve project objectives and deliverables
  • Ensure that appropriate office policies and procedures, including personnel policies, are developed and implemented in accordance to USAID and Zambian regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MA/MS and 7-10 years' relevant experience managing a large, international public health programme that includes 3-5 years supervisory experience, or a PhD/MD and 5-7 years relevant experience that includes 3-5 years' supervisory experience.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation Officer - HIV/AIDS, Christian Aid

Christian Aid will be managing a 5-year multi-million dollar HIV/AIDS programme, spanning 4 countries across Africa, focused on community-based care for orphans and vulnerable children. They are looking for a candidate to be based in Nairobi, with extensive travel throughout Africa.

Salary £17,177 - £19,565 (tax free)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Postgraduate or recognised qualification in research methodology and/or monitoring and evaluation, with at least 5 years' experience working in monitoring and evaluation of large donor-funded programmes, preferably in areas of HIV/AIDS or public health.
  • Demonstrable skills in strategic monitoring and evaluation, NGO capacity building and delivery of community based care/support services for children, youth and families affected by HIV/AIDS.
  • Experience in managing people, leading and motivating others would be desirable.

You will be required to have an enhanced disclosure check from the CRB, as this post has been identified as working with children and young people.
